Great study source for the AP Test!I read this book (and the other one, the one that goes up to the present) the week before the AP US History test and I got a 5! I didn't read anything else. This is a really good review of US History and offers just facts, no frills.

An Amazing Book!This is the best Arabic phrase book I have ever seen. It is good for people who have never had any experience with arabic or for people who have. This book is in the Egyptian dialect, which is a good one to know because it is widely understood. But if one already has some knowledge of Arabic there is also the standard form of each word given in the Arabic script, which is also covered. What makes this book so nice is that it is set up so the reader can actually learn the language instead of just memorize key phrases. The subjects covered are extensive and the dictionary is Arabic to English and English to Arabic. No matter what level of achievment is desired, this is the best book to help reach that goal with. This book is not going to give complete knowledge of the language, but it will give as much as a phrase book is able to considering it's size.

Excellent book about the life/metamorphises of Malcolm XAs was the life of Malxolm X, The Autobiography of Malcolm X will prove to many readers to be many things. It tells of his troubled upbringing to his life in Boston. It also deals with his incarceration and conversion to Islam. This book will be glued to the readers hand with its thought provoking words. A must for anyone who enjoys ensightful literature.

Excellent book on drawingThis book covers all the media and many techniques of drawing. I would not have this instead of Parramon's "Drawing in Penicl", but it is nevertheless very helpful.
Barron's Best Buys in College Education

Best college guide I have usedI am surprised there are no other reviews for this book. My daughter is a senior and we have been using this book for over a year now. All but one of the colleges she has looked at is in the book. Its best feature? It describes colleges that cost a little less than the biggies - most in the range of 20-25 k including room/board. That is very important for me since we have three kids to send to college. I don't expect much financial aid so we will be on our own except for some merit money. My daughter wants a small school, not in the city. She does very well in school but is not very competitive. So this range of colleges is perfect for her. I recommend it even if you are looking at some of the more prestigious schools (some of those are in here too). The other great thing is that the description of each college is very lengthy, some are 4 pages long.
